LENS Neurofeedback

What is LENS?

LENS is a low energy neurofeedback system. This is a specific neurofeedback that works much more quickly than "traditional neurofeedback". This makes it more user-friendly for individuals who struggle to sit still or maintain their focus on a computer screen for extended periods, as is required in 'traditional neurofeedback. Interestingly, LENS has been successfully used with infants as young as 3 months old.

How does LENS work?

The LENS software identifies the client's EEG signals (brain waves) and mirrors a subset of information back to the brain. This interrupts the low functioning or maladaptive patterns of the brain by allowing the brain to refresh its neurochemistry. The LENS restores function that has been lost, thus enabling the brain to optimize and reorganize. The LENS interrupts the dysfunctional patterns that the physiology has acquired as a result of:

-- emotional, physical, or birth trauma

-- head injury (even small bumps to the head)

-- chemotherapy treatment

-- medications

-- environmental influences

-- anoxic events

-- and much more

LENS safety

LENS is registered with the FDA. LENS mirrors back EEG signals. This signal is far weaker than a wrist watch's electromagnetic field and exponentially less than a cell phone.

Where can LENS help?

*TBI (traumatic brain injury):
concussion, sports injuries, bumps on the head
*Brain Conditions:
ADD, ADHD, autism spectrum, cerebral palsy, seizures
*Pain:
brain generated pain, vascular pain, headaches, migraines
*Mood:
trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, anger, explosiveness,  reactivity, and more

*Cognition:
memory, attention, concentration, clarity, and more
*Addictions
*Performance optimization

*Fatigue

*Sleep problems
